Peacock Salt
Eden Scott is delighted to be retained by Peacock Salt to appoint an experienced Head of Marketing.
Peacock Salt is a dynamic, family business that will celebrate its 150 year anniversary in 2024. This makes it the oldest salt company in the UK, and indeed one of the oldest in the world.
Peacock Salt is the largest distributor of salt products in the UK. With over 14,000 uses, salt is one of, if not the most diverse mineral on the planet and naturally as a large scale salt supplier Peacock Salt is both knowledgeable and nimble enough to source products that cover most of these uses.
Most of the company’s £30m turnover is generated through the sale of winter products, however the mid/long term goal is to grow new revenue streams in new verticals, such as food and agriculture. Product innovation is key to the future of this ever evolving business.
Peacock Salt will continue to build a sustainable and profitable company with integrity: making a positive impact on the people they work with and the world they live in. They strive to create a stable and nurturing environment to allow their staff to thrive.
